Translation:

having adorned himself with the mature shell of an aged tortoise, a young cobra and the horn of full growth of a pig.
the thief who captivated my mind, having collected alms in a bowl of skull from which the flesh has completely disappeared.
The great people who have learning and knowledge acquired by listening to words of wisdom worship with folded hands and praise him.
This person is the Lord who rides on a bull and gladly resides in Piramāpuram
Translation: V.M.Subramanya Aiyar – Courtesy: French Institute of Pondichery / EFEO (2006)

Laced in ancient chelonian, ever young krait and boar\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s budding tusk,
With skinned cranial bowl to beg,the stealer
of my heart graced the cogitant greats
That pray, praise and ponder on the kazhal-feet of Him
Upon the bull-on-the-move; the lord for sure is He.
Translation: S. A. Sankaranarayanan, Kumbakonam, 2013
