Hailing the grace of Grace

Unable to realize the splendour of Your form,
Deeming me to be the sovereign of this earth,
Maintaining falsehood as truth, I have been
Chasing after the mirage of worldly pleasures.
Abiding concealed in me, You, in grace, pursued me,
Exposing my pride of I – ness and My – ness, activised
Senselessly by me and myself, entered me everywhere –
Whatever embodiment I took -, quit it
When I quit it, caused me to experience
My Karma without fail, followed me inseparably
Like my servitor and witnessed the drama
Of my life, with intent to redeem me eventually.
O my Sire, thus, even thus, in the past,
You traversed my way. Alas, alas!
In Your immense grace, You arrived at
Arullturai in Vennainallur, on purpuse,
To reveal unto me all phenomena (and their nature).
You are the Foe of Falsity. To cause the whole
World realize this, You bore the name Meikandaan –
The Revealer of Truth. You caused me to get
Contained in You, quitting Your pursuit of myself
And causing my will, knowledge and action
To get oned with You. Not only did You grace me
With knowledge of myself but caused me also
To comprehend and come by You, by Your Grace.
Making a gift of Yourself to me, You taught me
Of Your Karmaless nature and the need
For my deedlessness (which is true blessedness).
So blessed, lo, I alone can marvel at this miracle.
