From this verse the second variety of metre begins if anyone questions about the manner in which the first cause of all things, Civaṉ, grants his grace and [about] his many attributes and greatness;

Let those who are fit to receive his grace listen to them so that sufferings which cause pain, and sins which come as the cause of those.
