Civaṉ who has the name of pittaṉ!
who wears a crescent on the head!
God as Civaṉ!
one who is full of grace!
the father who dwells in the temple Aruḷtuṟai in Veṇṇainallūr on the southern bank of the river Peṇṇai!
how do I think of you without forgetting.
you placed you in my mind that is the reason.
therefore by all means I think of you without forgetting.
having become your slave even before.
is it proper on my part to argue now that I am not your slave?

O, Mad ONE! (Taker of Plenty), Wearer of Three-phase crescent moon,
Lord renowned granting Grace!
My heart you haunt, me meditating you, by means whatever, already your slave
I have been, put in place!
Far in the South of River Pennai\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s in Vennainalloor, O, Father, entempled
through descent of Grace in Arutturai\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s!
How deny can I or lie, how for ever and now your slave negate,
I am no slave none of yours in guise?
