Translation:

The hero speaks:
Will one value the less Chintamani and oceanic nectar Obtainable only through great tapas,
If one should get them without pain Thanks to the grace of the Lord of Tillai?
O roe of beauteous eyes!
O peafowl with a doe`s timid look!
O swan on lotus divine enthroned!
Can I ever part from you?
Why do you feel sorrow And grieve me thus?
Translation: T. N. Ramachandran,Thanjaavoor ,1995

12. Undissociative sensibility

Were one to get Chinta gem and a main of nectar
With little ordeal or churning, but through grace
Of Tillai Lord would he fain forgo them. O one!
Of young doe’s looks! O swan!perched on
Lotus fair! How can I part from you and bee?
What smarts me in thought dizzied?
Translation: S.A. Sankaranarayanan, (2009)
