The hero speaks:
That indeed is the broad forelap;
Those are the breasts;
O heart,
why blabber in confusion?
With a bow wrought of hill
He brought low the hostile cities of foes;
He is the God of Tillai,
my Lord;
He smote the opposing Sun-god
And knocked out his teeth.
Behold her like unto His Pazhanam,
The one that wears many bangles!
She is sure with a waist endowed.
Translation: T. N. Ramachandran,Thanjaavoor ,1995
4.The nuance of the middle
Wide indeed is her mons veneris.
They are her breasts. Why in thoughtless chat, wilt,
O, Heart! She has her waist-slim, bangled round
To ravish like the holy Pazhanam of Tillai Lord,
Who downed the hostile citadels arching a hillock of Meru
And knocked Sun’s teeth to blow out his bright blaze
Translation: S.A. Sankaranarayanan, (2009)
