Civaṉ who is as kind as the mother and who dwells in the temple aruḷtuṟai in Veṇṇainallūr on the Southern bank of the river Peṇṇai which pushes gold, diamonds and other precious stones, its waves dashing against both the banks, and which flows with brightness!
Lord!
I am always thinking of you in mind without forgetting.
having become your slave long before.
is it proper for me to argue now I am not your slave?

Henceforth my heart shall ever beat you
never dis-remembering
your maternal Grace glowing in Arutturai of Vennainalloor
on the south of luxuriant Pennai
rolling gold, stones,diamonds and all,
jamming her rapids in jungle haste!
Me, a penitent slave since antiquity, how prate can I, contra,
no slave am I none of yours?
